Preparatory Years (3to 5)

Building Strong Learners, Thinkers, and Explorers

The Preparatory Stage (ages 8–11) is a crucial phase in a child's educational journey, where foundational literacy and numeracy evolve into deeper conceptual understanding and independent learning. Aligned with the *National Education Policy (NEP 2020)*, this stage marks the transition from predominantly play-based learning to a more structured, interactive, and discovery-oriented approach.

Research suggests that children in this age group experience significant growth in reasoning, memory, language, and social awareness. Therefore, the curriculum is designed to strengthen core academic competencies while nurturing creativity, character, and critical thinking.

At SRVS, learning is experiential, inquiry-driven, and connected to real-life contexts. Students are encouraged to ask questions, investigate ideas, collaborate with peers, and develop the confidence to express their thoughts and opinions.
