A Tapestry of Talent and Care: Our Multi-Themed Special Assembly

Our school community gathered for a uniquely vibrant special assembly that brought together four major global celebrations: World Art Day, World Heritage Day, World Earth Day, and Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti. It was a morning where environmental awareness perfectly blended with a deep appreciation for culture and creativity.

The assembly commenced with a serene tribute to the legendary polymath, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, marking his birth anniversary. Students paid homage to his immense legacy through a soulful group performance of Rabindra Sangeet and a moving recitation of verses from Gitanjali, reminding everyone how Tagore beautifully captured the harmony between humanity and nature.

Building on Tagore's love for the earth, the stage was then taken over by a spirited presentation for World Earth Day. Through an engaging skit, students highlighted the urgent need to beat plastic pollution, concluding with the entire school taking a pledge to keep our campus and households eco-friendly.

The celebrations reached a spectacular visual peak with a combined homage to World Art Day and World Heritage Day. The school walls were adorned with stunning handmade posters and traditional paintings created by our young artists. Student speakers took us on a quick, insightful journey through history, explaining why preserving historical monuments is just as crucial as protecting our natural ecosystems.

The assembly wrapped up with an inspiring address by our Principal, who praised the students for showing that conservation, history, and art are not just textbook subjects, but vital parts of who we are.
